RoseGarden Ice Arena offers trial lessons for beginners interested in skating for the first time, introducing basic skating skills such as donning skates and balancing on the ice. Classes are suitable for people aged 3 – 83.
All skaters must sign the RGIA Code of Conduct prior to going onto the ice. An adult must supervise children. Furthermore, skaters are not permitted on the ice during resurfacing procedures, and picking holes or chopping them is illegal.

Norwich–Work at Rose Garden Ice Arena has stopped this week due to an unexpected change. City officials plan to rebid the project in January, and hope work can start early next year. “This process may take a while, but at least it doesn’t require us to close down the arena while doing it,” said Mayor David Salomone.
This facility, called Wonderland of Ice, has since 2014 been rebranded as Rose Garden Ice Arena following its purchase by the city from its owners. As part of that transaction, a plate-and-frame ammonia chiller was installed along with other upgrades. Norwich Rose Garden Ice Associates have made over $1.5 million worth of improvements to this facility since taking ownership.
Ferguson’s Center Ice has a full-service pro shop restaurant and performance center offering on-ice and off-ice training for advanced figure skaters. Additionally, this rink houses USFS Norwich Figure Skating Club and popular peanut destinations Warm Puppy Cafe and Snoopy’s Gallery & Gift Shop – which have long been favorites within Norwich community life for over 50 years!
