Rocket Boys fame actress Regina Cassandra shares her conversation with British Academy Award winner Emily Watson

Cannes Film Festival is a mecca of the best minds in world cinema. Amidst all the ongoing Cannes hysteria, yesterday, multilingual actress Regina Cassandra caught up with British Academy Award winner Emily Watson at the American Pavilion. Sharing a sliver of their conversation at the American Pavilion, Regina spoke about the advice Emily Watson gave her. She said, “Emily spoke about finding a mentor. She came into the industry thinking it would be like a sisterhood but it actually was a big competition, which was very surprising to her. But she also said you have to be thick-skinned, keep the noise out and focus on yourself. And you have to find the right balance between keeping stuff out and keeping stuff in. You need to be a part of the competition but you also need to be vulnerable, which is important.”
