If sweet and salty snacks are your thing, then you may be interested in a new snack brought to you by Ritz crackers and Oreo cookies. The two brands announced a new collaboration that will bring the famous snacks together as one.
The snack, which is simply being called Ritz X Oreo will be released on Thursday (May 26th) at 12 pm EST. However, there is only a limited supply. There have been a total of 1,000 packs made. All people have to do is sign up to receive a pack of the sweet and salty snack, and pay for the shipping and handling.
According to Today, the snack is simply an Oreo cookie and Ritz cracker put together, meaning one layer of the traditional chocolate cookie with Oreo creme, and then a Ritz cracker with peanut butter filling.
Ritz Senior Brand Manager Alexis Yap said,
“Over the past few years, Ritz has been exploring innovative partnerships and experiences to spark excitement around our iconic, buttery cracker. We couldn’t resist the opportunity to collaborate with our friends at OREO on a snack that’s part salty cracker, part chocolate cookie, and entirely delicious.”
Sydney Kranzmann, Oreo’s Senior Brand Manager, added, “At OREO, we are constantly exploring playful ways to excite our fans, from innovative limited-edition flavors to unexpected collaborations.”
Roommates, will you be trying this new snack?
