Priyanka Chopra Jonas expresses gratitude ; represents South Asian Talent at the Pre-Oscars Event

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a global icon and there just seem countless feathers that she keeps adding to her cap. 2022 has started for her with the happiest news of becoming a mother and the actress is brimming with joy. Recently it was declared that Priyanka will be hosting the pre-Oscars event at LA and represent South Asian talent.

The actress who has made her mark felt in both Bollywood and Hollywood couldn’t be prouder after the announcement. Jay Shetty recently took to social media to share a clip of Priyanka Chopra making one of her speeches during her early days in Hollywood, he thanked her for hosting the Pre-Oscars event. In the speech, Priyanka is seen saying, “I have goosebumps. I’m emotional. I’m highly proud to be rubbing shoulders with all of you, to be encouraging you. ”

Looking stunning as usual in a black saree, Priyanka was also joined by co-hosts Mindy Kaling, Kumail Nanjiani, Anjula Acharia, Bela Bajaria, Maneesh K. Goya, and Shruti Ganguly. She went on to introduce a special guest later on who was Riz Ahmed. The list of special nominees also seen in attendance were Suroosh Alvi, Choyning Dorji, Joseph Patel, Aneil Karia, Elizabeth Mirzaei, and Gulistan Mirzaei.

Oscars 2022 is scheduled to be held on March 27, 2022.
