Pete Davidson Addresses Kanye’s Claim He Has AIDS In Latest Stand-up Special

At least he has a great sense of humor about it! Pete Davidson reportedly returned to stand-up, and he performed a few jokes addressing his girl’s ex-husband Kanye ‘Ye’ West in his routine. Entertainment Tonight reports that the Saturday Night Live star took the stage Thursday night to a sold-out crowd for the first night of the Netflix Is A Joke: Festival at the Hollywood Bowl.

Pete Davidson Jokes About Kanye West In Netflix Stand-Up

Right away, the comedian addressed Kim Kardashian’s ex, Kanye West, while opening his set. Pete started with jokes about the rapper telling Davidson that Davidson had AIDS — which Pete said he believed because West is a “genius.” The comedian then described how “weird” he felt during his “humiliating” public spat with the father of his girlfriend’s kids.

In case you missed it, Davidson and West previously bickered in text messages that surfaced online where Pete bragged about being in bed with Kim. West referred to him as “Skete” online prior to the leaked argument and exposed the private beef.

“Her [Kim Kardashian] boyfriend texted me, antagonizing me bragging about being in bed with my wife.”

Kanye then took jabs at the 28-year-old in his new music video for “Eazy,” where he depicted burying the comedian.

Pete Davidson Addresses Chris Rock Oscars Slap

Kanye wasn’t this year’s only controversial star that Pete shouted out. The comedian also mentions Chris Rock, recalling a basketball game with him and Jon Stewart. “Before life was over,” he added, noting that he and Rock had “terrible things happen” to them afterward. He was referring, of course, to the now-famous Will Smith Oscars slap.

As far as Kanye goes, he probably isn’t too worried about what Pete has going on. A source tells the outlet that the rapper is focused on healing right now.

“Kanye has been laying low and focusing on healing. He is trying to disconnect from all the drama that happened between him and Kim,” a source said. “[Kanye] is focused on taking care of himself, getting healthier, and removing himself from all the craziness. He cares deeply about his family and kids. They are his number one priority and he’s working on himself.”
