A synopsis for the flick reads, “Del Toro reinvents the basic story of the picket marionette who’s magically delivered to life to be able to mend the center of a grieving woodcarver named Geppetto.
“This whimsical, stop-motion movie directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson follows the mischievous and disobedient adventures of Pinocchio in his pursuit of a spot on the earth.”
Del Toro directs the movie, which is a re-imagining of the beloved basic, with David Bradley starring as Geppetto, and Gregory Mann taking over the function of Pinocchio.
