Infinix Hot 7 Pro Review

Infinix Hot 7 Pro is one of the most exciting budget phones to hit the market. It packs a dual-lens camera, 6GB of RAM, and a massive battery at an affordable price.

It is an excellent smartphone for people who want more than the average phone in this price range. However, it does come with a few drawbacks.

Features

The Infinix Hot 7 Pro combines an AI dual front camera with 6GB of RAM, which is rare at this price point. It also sports a quad-camera setup and 64GB of internal storage.

The phone has a 6.19-inch HD+ display, which is excellent for watching movies and taking photos. It also has a traditional wide notch at the front.

An entry-level MediaTek Helio P22 processor powers the Infinix Hot 7 Pro. This isn’t a powerful enough chip for demanding tasks, but it should easily handle most day-to-day activities.

Design

Infinix Hot 7 Pro has a simple, uncluttered design. It sports a 6.19-inch HD+ display with a traditional notch on the front.

The device also has a vertical camera bump at the back. The fingerprint sensor sits in its usual place, while a headphone jack and micro USB port are placed at the bottom of the phone.

The Infinix Hot 7 Pro display offers an 88% screen-to-body ratio and 500 nits of brightness, which is good enough for viewing movies or playing games. The HD+ resolution and 2.5D curved front glass ensure excellent daylight visibility.

Performance

The Hot 7 Pro is an attractive device from Infinix that offers many features for the price. It has a quad-camera setup, 6GB RAM, and 64GB storage.

The design is simple but elegant, and the metal unibody feels sturdy and comfortable. The 6.19-inch HD+ screen is bright and has wide viewing angles.

The Hot 7 Pro’s rear camera can capture good shots, especially in daylight. It also supports 1080p video recording.

Camera

Infinix Hot 7 Pro is the first Infinix smartphone to feature a quad-camera lens. The rear camera is a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor.

The front camera is a dual setup with an LED flash. It also has features like the bokeh effect, AI camera, and beauty mode.

Our test results showed that the camera could deliver clear images in good lighting conditions but struggled in low light. We could see blown-up highlights in most shots, and the noise was sometimes present.

The Infinix Hot 7 Pro is a good choice for a budget smartphone with a big battery. Its 4,000mAh battery holds up well, and the device lasts all day, even with moderate use.

Battery

The Infinix Hot 7 Pro has a massive 4000 mAh non-removable battery that can deliver up to 30 hours of talk time and 380 hours of standby. This is very impressive, especially today, where battery life on most smartphones is becoming an issue.

It has a 6.19-inch display with HD+ resolution and 2.5D curved glass. This makes it quite comfortable to use in bright sunlight or outdoors.

On regular usage, the phone performs fine without any lags or overheating. Nevertheless, when running resource-hungry apps like gaming, video editing, or WiFi-Hotspot, the phone gets warm and drains the battery quickly.
