From Shahid Kapoor’s Farzi To Mirzapur 3 & Made In Heaven 2, Amazon Prime Video Announces Its Starry Slate Of Content

It wasn’t much long ago that a new medium of entertainment,  the OTT, made way into our lives. And before I could even realise the potential it had, it grew exponentially, becoming one of the most sough-after medium of work in showbiz. The two years of pandemic also played in its favour as stuck at home, people resorted to OTT for their dose of entertainment. In the last few years, I have seen the biggest names from both films and TV making their way to OTT and the medium also reviving a lot of careers. One of the giants on this medium is Amazon Prime Video, and today it just got way bigger as the platform announced their upcoming line up and it has left me quite starry-eyed. It’s a big one, so here I begin:

Farzi

Shahid Kapoor‘s digital debut, this film is about an artist who gets pulled into the murky high stakes of a con job and a fiery task force officer on the mission to rid the country of his menaces in a fast-paced, edgy one-of-a-kind thriller.

Gulkanda Tales

This is yet another masterpiece from the minds of Raj & DK and while there is no other detail yet out about what it is, the cast itself has made me quite curious about it.

Jubilee

Set in a newly independent India, Jubilee is a fictional period drama that unveils the stories and dreams that gave birth to Bollywood, as we know it.

Happy Family Conditions Apply

The Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai trio of JD Majethia, Aatish Kapadia and Ratna Pathak Shah returns for a light-hearted family comedy about a quirky but lovable joint family that is always at loggerheads with each other.
