Chiranjeevi answers Aamir Khan on why Salman Khan was chosen for a cameo in his movie instead of him

In the Telugu trailer launch of Aamir Khan’s upcoming movie Laal Singh Chaddha, actor Chiranjeevi presided as the chief guest of the event. While the two actors interacted with each other, Aamir Khan asked Chiranjeevi why the actor roped in Salman Khan for a cameo in his upcoming movie Godfather and not him. To this, actor Chiranjeevi quipped that they were looking for someone with physicality.

Replying to Aamir Khan’s question, Chiranjeevi was quoted saying, “The character didn’t need someone with heart and brain, but needed someone for their physicality, and that’s why we went with Salman.” Saying this the actor burst into laughter.

Aamir Khan had also organized a special screening for Chiranjeevi at his Hyderabad residence. Apart from him, the screening was also attended by SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, and director Sukumar.

Laal Singh Chaddha also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the movie will release in cinemas on the 12th of August.
