Brighton FC Unveils New Home and Away Kits

The Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club (BHFC) is a famous football club that has achieved much success in recent years. It’s currently playing in the Premier League and it’s considered to be a strong team. However, the club has experienced a series of setbacks recently which could mean the team could be relegated to the Championship. If this were to happen, it would be the first time in their history that the team has not won a promotion to the top division.

Home kit

Whether you’re a die-hard Brighton fan or simply interested in the club, the new home kit is an attractive design that features blue and white stripes. There’s also yellow detail and Nike Dri-FIT technology.

This kit is available in men’s and women’s sizing. The average price is PS55 for adults and PS65 for youth.

It’s manufactured by Nike, who have been producing the home kit for Brighton FC since 2014. Interestingly, it’s been a few years since the team last won the Championship.

For the new season, the club has unveiled a kit that’s inspired by the upcoming campaign. The jersey is manufactured with recycled polyester and is available in men’s and women’s fit.

Traditionally, the home kit of Brighton & Hove Albion has been all blue and white. However, the club changed its kit in the 1980s, bringing it up to a more modern plain blue color.

Away kit

Brighton FC is set to unveil a new away kit for the 2022/23 season. The kit, made by Nike, is a strikingly bright red and black color combo. It is a customized version of Nike’s Park IV template.

The main gimmick of the new Brighton away kit is the red and black color scheme. The shirt also sports a red and black Nike logo. A bold blue collar and cuffs complete the outfit.

The club’s latest home kit has a distinctly pinstriped solid blue look. This is in keeping with the club’s long-standing history. But the home kit does have one major difference, a yellow vertical panel.

One of the more unusual features of the new kit is its black crew neck and cuffs. These are trimmed with bright crimson, which also happens to be the shade of the Nike swoosh.

The jersey also features a v-neckline that is reminiscent of Nike’s Division III team wear. The v-neck is not only a clever design, but it also reveals the inner lining of the shirt.

Relegation from the Premier League

Relegation from the Premier League is a real affliction for some clubs. Brighton and Hove Albion are just one of them. Their history in the top flight is relatively short, though. They had their best spell between 1979 and 1983, reaching the FA Cup final, before being relegated to the Second Division.

Although Brighton hasn’t been in the Premier League since the 2017-18 season, they still have plenty to play for. A top-ten finish is possible, but with three points from their last six games, they could drop out of the top tier altogether.

Last year’s campaign saw the Seagulls finish 15th. With Everton, Cardiff, and Leeds in the bottom half, they aren’t out of the woods yet.

Relegation is always a stressful time for fans. But for the team itself, it isn’t the end of the world. After all, they did get promoted to the top flight 20 years ago.
