The Cannes Film Festival is blowing up with an array of red carpet looks. Our leading Bollywood ladies are creating a fashion statement with the most extravagant and luxurious pieces. From gorgeous ballgowns to shimmery saris and long trains their OOTDS are raising the glam quotient of the film festival. And let’s be real, this festival sees the who’s who of the world all decked up ready to flaunt their style game and our ladies seem to be beating some big names with their sartorial prowess. Here are some of our favourite looks from The Cannes Film Festival.
Hina Khan took the red carpet way too seriously and graced the carpet in a stunning blood-red pleated gown from Rami Al Ali that features a bustier-style top. She kept her styling minimal with bronzed makeup, matt brown lips, and middle-parted hair with her bronze highlights peeking through. She accessorised her look with long, studded earrings from Joolry by Karishma and metallic, block heels from London Rag. Hina was styled by Sayali Vidya and her hair and makeup were done by Gemma Pring and Liz Bomben respectively.
Pooja Hegde’s outfit was all things glory and wonder in this heavily ruffled dress with intricate feather detailing from Maison Geyanna Youness. The gown featured a deep-cut, sweetheart neckline with shimmery, rose gold stripes. Pooja’s makeup was soft-hued with a striking highlighter, glossy lips, and a neat centre-parted low ponytail. She kept her accessories to a bare minimum and finished off her look with diamond-studded, chandelier earrings from Bhima Gold. Akshay Tyagi styled her to perfection in this look and her glam was done by Kajol Mulani and Suhas Shinde.
Aishwarya is a carpet legend. She has been doing this for years and knows how to turn heads effortlessly. This time around the actress stole the show in a black Dolce & Gabbana gown with multi-coloured, 3D flowers adorning the dress and adding a pop of colour to balance the neutrality. Aishwarya’s makeup was simple with a glittery eye shadow, soft tinted lips and her hair pinned up on either side in a neat, slightly puffed up hairdo.
Tamannah Bhatia made a striking appearance on the carpet in a glimmering, sheer black dress. The dress featured a plunging neck with long, cape-like sheer sleeves and a thigh-high slit with heavy sequin designs. Tamannah’s makeup was spot on which beautifully complemented her dress. She had soft tinted, highlighted cheeks, glossy lips, and her hair in a top knot. Tamannaah was wearing Yanina Couture, styled by Shaleena Nathani. Her jewellery was from Jaipur Gems and her hair and makeup were done by none other than Florian Hurel.
