Benzino Released From Jail After Previously Turning Himself In And Says He’s “Back To Da Bag”

Looks like Benzino is ready for a fresh start, as he has officially been released from jail after turning himself in due to an altercation charge back in July 2020. Following his release, Benzino wasted no time and quickly headed to social media to update his fans and let them know that he’s “back to da bag.”

Courtesy of a video posted to his social media accounts, Benzino revealed that not only is he a free man, but he’s ready to return to getting to the money. In the short video clip, a friend of Benzino’s says “Ay man it’s early in the morning I’m looking crazy, but it’s a good occasion,” to which Benzino replies, “You know how we do. We just got home, you know how we do.”

As we previously reported, late last month Benzino surrendered to local Georgia authorities after a warrant was issued for his arrest due to a physical altercation dating back to July 2020. The incident was between his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Althea Heart, and her boyfriend. At the time Althea’s boyfriend claimed Benzino punched his truck.

The situation escalated and the two men exchanged words after Althea and her boyfriend returned from a walk around their neighborhood—and found Benzino waiting for them at the man’s truck.

Benzino was accused of allegedly approaching the man in a “threatening and harassing manner during the altercation.” He was charged with one count of second-degree criminal damage and one count of disorderly conduct.
