August Alsina Shares His Inner Thoughts On Peace Amid News Of Will Smith Physically Assaulting Chris Rock

August Alsina dropped by Instagram on Tuesday night with a message about peace. The singer’s name has been a hot button the last few days as folks online continue to discuss Will Smith physically assaulting Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars. The moment came following a G.I. Jane joke by Chris in reference to the actress’ current bald look–which is due to struggles with alopecia.
As previously reported, Jada Pinkett Smith and August both confirmed a romantic “entanglement” back in 2020. The revelations sparked an endless stream of memes, jokes and conversations that once again bubbled to the top after Will’s reaction to his wife being disrespected.
August’s Note About Peace
In his latest Instagram posts, August not only wrote about peace in a lengthy caption, but also trolled followers with a Madea post on peace being “made of steel.”
“choose peace; trusting that life’s intricate puzzle pieces are all forming together for the greater good and mastering of the seasonally sometime chaotic nature of your life’s art piece that’s being formed and painted by birthing life to your internal masterpiece; grown through external chaos-metamorphosing alchemy, dark turned 2 light and beauty within,” August captioned his post.
Wearing dark sunglasses, a jean jacket, yellow hoodie and white cap, August bared his gold grills for a selfie. He appeared to be laying back on a couch during the photo. He continued on in his caption.
“Then turned Master P (i) E^CE shown without, from your life’s own whimsical & colorful art-piece, being co created and displayed through living while/after being broken to peace’s/pieces,” August wrote.
In wrapping up his words, August shifted to his outlook on himself. The trap soul artist believes he’s “a walking billboard.”
“I’m A Walking Billboard & Network Simply Desiring To Televise & Broadcast Love, the love, grace and healing embrace of God, Good Music that’s healing (w/ a lil bit of nasty) (cus the art of sharing temples can too be healing),” August wrote. “My Nola mixed w/ My H-Town background of Top Tier DRIP & FLAVA & bag secure abundantly for the ones i love while trying to keep a clean heart out here. DassIT!!”
August’s Trolling Moment
Moments after his initial post, August might’ve peeped the host of reactions to his lengthy message on peace. On The Shade Room alone, a repost of August’s post received well over 10,000 comments. The artist shared a second post — this time featuring a stage play clip of Tyler Perry’s character Madea being Madea.
“Peace was still. Piece is made of steel,” Madea said in the 18-second clip. “You don’t believe it’s a peacemaker? All you got to do is pull it out and there will be.”
August followed up the clip with his own “trolling” caption.
“For those of them in the back that like to solve aLgEbRa eQuAtIoNs & mOrSe codes. Jesus is a peace maker, so sit still bul’! Lol aight I’m done trollin… I love y’all, he wrote.
