Three days ago, it was announced that Deepika Padukone would represent India as one of the jury members as the 75th Festival De Cannes. It’s indeed a big news and it does make us feel quite proud of DP, isn’t it?
French actor Vincent Lindon is the Jury President and I must say, the fact that Deepika is set to represent India at the Cannes has left us all excited. The testament to that is, Amul has paid a tribute to this moment.
Amul has paid a “buttery tribute” to the star indeed. Amul calls this ‘Deepicannes!’, and the tagline, ‘Every jury loves it!’ has my heart. Isn’t this super adorable?
The Cannes festival is set to take place from May 17 to May 29, and I’m so looking forward to see what it has to offer this year. Deepee has returned after shooting for Pathaan in Spain a few days ago, while she’s also shooting for Nag Ashwin’s Project K with Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. The actress’ other upcoming projects include The Intern and Draupadi. Deepika has indeed come a long way and post Gehraiyaan, she has such varied films lined up. For the fact that the actress always gives us something new to look forward to and wins our heart with her performances, this honour to be a jury member at Cannes, is so well-deserved! You go girl!
