Small town boy Titu’s (Tushar Pande) aspirations and dreams are far from his actions, as he always dreams with open eyes, and tries to find the shortest way to achieve his dreams. Despite his debt-ridden life, he is no less a dreamer than Ambani, while his girlfriend Mosmi (Deepika Singh) is the practical as well as contemporary  girl of today, living life on her own terms and can just not compromise with her principles. The film Titu Ambani is set in Ajmer where a young man from a middle-class family prefers pursuing a business idea to slaving away at a job. Titu Shukla’s parents marry him to the love of his life, Mosmi who believes that it will make him responsible and change his perspective on life.

After their marriage, Mosmi feels that Titu and she are made for each other but a lot of troubles arise when Titu’s decisions endanger their love affair. This is a slice of this gem of a heart-warming film, and this simple love story of a middle-class family conveys the big message of life in a very entertaining way.

How Titu is pushed into a corner and his marriage begins to crack due to misunderstandings forms the crux of the plot of the story. The remaining narrative revolves predictably around whether or not he changes as a person and reorganises his priorities. The biggest plus point of this emotional film is the noble idea of the story that is centred on a dutiful daughter who can also play the role of Shravan Kumar for her parents after their marriage as a son would.

As far as the performances of the film go, all I can say is that Deepika Singh who comes from TV has given a brilliant debut making performance in the film and makes every viewer wish that he or she had a daughter like Mousmi. Tushar Pandey on the other hand is good as well but he has the traits of just a character actor and lacks the face value which a film deserves to attract the paying audience. Virendra Saxena lives his role as the father of the leading lady. Raghubir Yadav is excellent though Brajendra has been wasted in an inane role as a broker. The highlight of the film, besides the performances of all the actors is the incisive, witty and quirky situational dialogues that will make you laugh your guts out and also cry at the same time. Kudos to director Rohit Raj Goyal for setting out to tackle a topical theme in a pertinent manner to drive home the message in an endearing style.
